MARGDARSHAK was what we longed for in our growing up years, where someone who would show us the way through the mess and chaos that played us in our journey through life.
Having found this in Christ Jesus, we desire to reach those who cannot overcome their challenges if only they knew God the Father who sent His son Jesus to show us the way to abundant life.

Founders and Directors

Chandan and Prassana

Brother Chandan Singh Giri and his wife Prassanna S. Giri are Indian Missionaries who are passionate to reach out to today’s young generation for Christ. They have done post-graduation in theology, counselling, and Life Skills coaching.

Chandan is a Hindu convert from Himachal. After receiving Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1997, God called him to reach out to children and teens. He has been serving the Lord among children and teens for the last 13 years across the country. Prassanna is a daughter of a cross-cultural missionary in Bihar. After 30 years of ministry among tribals, her father went to be with the Lord in 2003. She strongly felt that God was calling her for missions and decided to take up her dad’s vision to reach out to the lost. As a missionary, she has worked among children in Nepal, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. She is continuing in Bangalore at present. God has given them great potential, a loving heart, and the passion to serve God through children & teens. They use their God-given talents & creativity to make the gospel a simple message to understand, receive and implement in the lives of children and teens. After serving the Lord through Gospel for Asia & Urban India Ministries, the Lord led them to initiate an independent ministry among children, teens, and youth. This gave birth to Christian Charitable Trust in May 2012.

Prassana

The year 2018 was a period of change and adjustment for Margdarshak. We lost our beloved director, Brother Chandan. Though brother Chandan lived a short journey, he used every opportunity to glorify God through his gifts and talents. As they say, it does not matter how long we live but how we lived our lives. And we have seen that Brother Chandan lived a journey with God and for God.

At present, Sister Prassanna is leading Margdarshak with the passion, vision, and goal God has given. Under her leadership, Margdarshak started the Deborah Palm project while continuing the previous projects and programs like the Afterschool learning centre, VBS, and Teacher’s Training.
